”[...] The sherds on which the study is based comprise the collections made in China by Dr Nils Palmgren during the years 1935-1936. Dr Palmgren described the find-spots, classified the material and treated it in its aesthetic aspects. The material has been examined physically and ceramically and the results reported by Professor Walter Steger at AB Gustavsbergs Fabriker. Dr Nils Sundius of the Swedish Geological Survey has studied the material microscopically and chemically. After the death of Dr Nils Palmgren, his manuscript was checked and edited by Dr Bo Gyllensvärd of the Oriental Museum, Stockholm. [...] All the drawings are by Sven Ekblom, Stockholm”.
