German translation by Mohnike of ”Fågelleken” by Esaias Tegnér, printed alongside the original Swedish text. The first Swedish edition appeared in the same year, printed in large oblong format with lithographed music by Bernhard Crusell (1775-1838). In addition to Mohnike’s translation, ”Die Vogelfaltz”, with commentary, the book contains an essay on "Geschichte des Auerhahns" (History of the Grouse), taking up most of the 124 pages.
